How to request deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
- In the JI RYK Digital App, open Settings and tap Delete account. That opens this page: https://jiryk.org/delete-account.
- On the web, you can open the same address without installing the app.
- Send an email from the same address registered on your JI RYK Digital App account.
- Use the subject line “JI RYK Digital App account deletion”.
- Include your full name, CNIC, registered mobile number, and registered email.
- Send the request through https://jiryk.org/ (Contact / JI Secretariat) or reply from your registered email to any official JI RYK Digital App message you have received.
- We verify the request against your membership record and complete it within 30 days.
What we delete
When we complete a request we permanently delete from our primary records:
- Your account, including the CNIC username, email, mobile number, password, and sign-in tokens.
- Contact details and other profile fields (name, address, map pin, blood group, role, and similar membership data).
- Your profile photo and files you uploaded only for your profile.
- Your device push token, so we stop sending you notifications.
- Stored sign-in location on your membership record, including the login log.
What we may keep
Where a community record is still needed, we may keep the following, usually for up to 24 months or longer if the law or an open case requires it:
- Complaints, daily reports, and financial-aid records that other members or reviewers still need, with your name replaced by “Deleted member”.
- A minimal log that the deletion request was received and completed (date and request id).
Guest browsing of public updates, programs, donors, or public complaints does not create an account and has nothing to delete.
